The working environment in large production halls or smaller workshops is often very dusty and not very healthy for the people who work there. However, with innovative technologies, we have managed to simulate fresh mountain air and bring it into spaces where no one would expect it. So how do you bring mountain air into your operation?
Mountain air in your operation
Mountain air is fresh, cool and sufficiently humid. It’s exactly the kind of air we can create in any space without leaving things damp or wet. For easier understanding. By mountain air we mean air that is cool and sufficiently moist. The term mountain air comes from “waterfall”, where when water falls, small droplets are formed which immediately evaporate and thus cool the air. This is the process of evaporative cooling, invented by nature itself. We have brought this process to the plants thanks to adiabatic cooling. Adiabatic cooling works on the same evaporative process.
Water cooling without wet machines and workers
No need to worry. With water vapour cooling, there are no wet or damp spots in the workplace. Our equipment can be used both outdoors and indoors. Cooling works on the theory of evaporation, where cold water draws heat from the surroundings and uses this energy to actually evaporate. In order to maximize the water intake capacity, and to absorb as much heat from the atmosphere as possible without any humidity issues, our devices use special nozzles that create 5 micron water droplets (which is 10 times smaller than a hair’s diameter). With these nozzles, the device creates a “mist” around itself so that the water droplets suck up as much heat as possible from the surroundings before evaporating completely. This method is known as ‘flash evaporation’ of water, where the water vapour can reduce the outside temperature by 10 – 15°C without the use of chemicals or other harmful substances.
Save both employee health and cooling costs
All of our technologies are green, which means they don’t use chemicals and other “refrigerants” whose leakage harms the environment and increases the ozone hole. Our cooling systems also save you the cost of running your refrigeration, as their price is a fraction of the normal cost of other cooling systems. The big advantage is that our cooling systems don’t just mindlessly cool entire rooms. In fact, we can target cooling to workers and specific workplaces, making the cooling process more efficient. So we don’t spend your money on unnecessary and inefficient area cooling.
The initial investment is ¼ of the price of standard cooling. At a lower cost, you can bring efficient cooling to workplaces instead of unnecessarily excessive area cooling, along with humidification that benefits machines and employee health.
The systems have low operating costs. In one system the customer gets multiple technologies:
- Refrigeration
- Humidification
- Removes dust
- Can also disinfect (option) but the SANFOG standard system must be supplemented with a disinfectant dosing system

Volkswagen Slovakia
Adiabatic cooling on a part of the production line, where we realized a temperature drop of 8°C in the summer period for minimal operating costs, improved the paint quality by 8%, and improved the working environment at the workplaces. By lowering the temperature by 8°C we were able to cancel some rest periods during production, which improved the productivity of the production cycle, and so ultimately more cars could be produced.
Porfix
The aim, for this project, was to reduce dust during production. Porfix manufactures aerated concrete blocks. The production of these blocks generates a large amount of dust. The company needed a solution to eliminate dust so as to increase work efficiency. We designed a Sanfog system with fans for the customer and reduced dust by 30%. This created a better working environment and reduced the workload by two levels. For the customer, this means workers don’t tire as quickly and pay less for an unsafe workplace. In the summer months, the system is also used for cooling.
Makrowin
The company is involved in the manufacture of wooden windows and doors. The customer approached us with a requirement for humidification of the production hall and warehouse to avoid damaging the wood due to low % pH. We supplied an automatic humidification system that maintains ideal humidity during woodworking and storage. After installing the system, the customer noticed that he had better air in the production area than in the office. We are currently investigating how we can create mountain air for the client in the office area as well.
